Strikethrough Google Calendar. A workaround is to create a new calendar called cancelled events and choose a pale shade for it. Then to cancel event, change the calendar to cancelled events.
I would like to be able to keep completed tasks on my google calendar but to have them show with a strikethrough. Applying the strikethrough effect (which adds a line crossing your text) in popular apps like word, excel, powerpoint, outlook, google’s online office suite, and gmail is as easy as pressing a key combination.
